Singles Social Club is a not-for-profit social club operated totally by dedicated
member volunteers. We are primarily a social club for singles and our goal is to
create numerous opportunities for our members to meet new friends and to socialize in a variety of
settings.
Most of
our activities are member-initiated and centered around Richmond Hill, Aurora,
Markham and
surrounding areas. Our members organize a special dinner of
the month. These evenings take us to special places where we are able to sample
exotic food and entertainment. We have a regular movie-of-the-month with dinner. Other members
host house parties, pool parties and BBQ's. We also have weekly bridge and
euchre games. Some members have even planned and
taken group vacations.
Other events include dancing at local
community centers, dance halls or pubs, local theatre outings, Stratford
Festivals and day outings by car pooling, etc.
We hold regular meetings on
the last Thursday of every month, where our
members receive the Social calendar of activities for the upcoming month.
Most of our members are 50+ years of
age with all of our members being young at heart. We are currently looking to
expand our membership. Honesty, integrity and teamwork
are guiding principles in our Social Club. If you think this club is for you,
